Latvian Cattle association organizes an event for beef cattle breeders on Friday, May 17th, 2019 at Nereta County Mazzalve Parish in the Cattle Auction House.
There will be nine Limousine breeding bulls between 1 and 2 years old, as well as nine Charolais young bulls from 1 to 2 years of age at the show. The demonstrations are attended by beef cattle farms from Vidzeme, Latgale, Selia and Kurzeme. The catalogue of demonstrable bulls will soon be available on the event’s organisers web sites.
At the end of the day, the Cattle Breeders Association, in cooperation with the Cattle Auction House, will offer to buy bulls for sale at an auction.
It is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the achievements of the most active and successful purebred breeding farms in Latvia, to gain new knowledge, practice and experience, to meet with colleagues in their field, to get away from farm work, and to buy a ready-to-work, expertly selected and evaluated breeding animal with a certificate for your own herd.
Regina Müller, owner of one of the Germany’s top purebred Charolais breeders, will share her experience in selection, breeding and preparing for sale and for champion title.
Targo Pikkmets, specialist from Estonia, will tell about work with animals and taming of them.
